The bombing - and a second one on Nagasaki three days later - is credited with bringing to an end World War Two.

本日の英字新聞には上記の様な表現が見られました。決して人数だけの問題ではありませんが、余りにも大きな犠牲を払いました。

先日も、「広島や長崎に原爆が投下された日を答えられる人たちが年々減って来ている」との報道を耳にして驚きました。

唯一の被爆国の、そして国民の役割はとても大きいと思います。
